“What do you think about when you hear the words “Broken Pieces”? There were probably many things you might have came up with. Think about a glass cup that has just been dropped on the floor. What happens to the glass cup after it has been dropped? The cup now becomes pieces of scattered glass and is no longer considered to be a cup.
Let’s say that it was a special gift that was given to you from someone you really love, that person not only gave you that one cup as a gift but they also gave you plenty more cups as gifts. What are you going to do with the cup you dropped? Will you be person number 1; Are you going to pick the pieces up and try to glue them back together? Will you be person number 2; Are you going to pick up the pieces, throw them away and never use the cups ever again? Or will you be person number 3; Will you throw those broken pieces away and just replace the broken one for a new one?
There are some who would pick up the pieces and try to pick them up and glue them back together. There are some who would pick up the pieces and never use a cup again. But then, there are also some who would just throw the broken pieces away and just replace it with a new one. The real question is . . . What would you have done? Would you have been like person number 1 , number 2 or number 3?
At times we won’t fully understand why we go through certain things, but just because we may not understand shouldn’t give us a reason to close up, back down, loose faith or hope. When God bring us to something it’s not to harm us but God just want to strengthen us.”
